Our team here at Holubova has released a book covering the initial experiences with GDPR in education. The team was led by Alice Frýbová, the lead author of the book.
The book launch „party“ was held on 14. 10. 2019 at a conference organized by Wolters Kluwer ČR, a.s., Czech publishing house. The conference “Zástupce na cestě k úspěchu” (Deputy Director of the school on the way to success), was where Alice Frýbová made a presentation with the theme: ‘What has happened since GDPR came into effect’.
The venue for the conference was the Prague City Hall and was intended primarily for Deputy Directors of school, with the topics of discussion focused on education. The “godmother” of the book was Ivana Frýbová, Alice’s mom.
Besides Alice Frýbová as the lead author, Štěpán Holub, Lenka Švarcová and Pavlína Hlavenková also participated in writing the book. The information contained in the book is based on our practical experience with the Data Protection Officer and the GDPR implementation.
