'No one has done as much for me as you,' Eva said.
"A visit to her daughter in London turned Eva's life upside down when she says she stepped into a crossing on a green light but was hit by a car. Despite her remarkable bravery, she faced a long treatment due to fractures in her pelvis, and the associated limitations and pain are likely to persist for the rest of her life. Regular headaches and impaired concentration compound her challenges.
Eva contacted us through an organization temporarily helping her manage her difficult living situation. At that time, she was destitute, relying only on subsistence payments. We were able to assist her because we specialize in personal injury and have contacts with proven colleagues abroad.
We worked with Stewarts, a UK law firm, on this case. Attorneys Klára Dvořáková and Rebecca Huxford helped Eva with the documentation in her case, explaining her options and the differences between the Czech and British systems of healthcare and social benefits reimbursement. Within a few months, thanks to the professional cooperation between the two offices, an offer of compensation from the insurance company of approximately CZK seven million was achieved. The client accepted this settlement because she did not want to deal with courts in the United Kingdom.
Subsequently, we assisted the client with related tax issues and contacted Auditone, a tax consultancy firm, which arranged for the filing of a tax return. Compensation for lost income is taxable, unlike most personal injury compensation.

The fact that we were able to help Eva gives our work meaning and brings us great joy. We are very happy that, thanks to our many years of active involvement in the international professional organization PEOPIL, we can cooperate on such cases."
Together with Holubova attorneys, we helped a Czech citizen obtain six-figure compensation for his injuries.
"Thanks to the cooperation and dedication of Klára and the law firm Holubová advokáti, we recently helped a Czech citizen obtain six-figure compensation for a life-changing injury sustained while visiting England.
In preparing the case, we needed Klára's help on some Czech law and other issues to ensure the best possible outcome for our client.
Klara was very easy to communicate with, very responsive, and even managed to help our client with a clear and concise explanation of the legal concepts of English law, which made the whole process much easier.
It was a real pleasure to work with such a dedicated team and I would have no hesitation in recommending Klara and the law firm Holubová advokáti."
Klára's exceptional expertise in health care law and experience was a guarantee to claim my rights.
"Klára Dvořáková represented me in a case dealing with the consequences of a serious traffic accident in which I suffered a serious injury as a pedestrian.
The case was complicated, so she entered into negotiations not only with insurance companies but also in court proceedings. The attorney's extraordinary expertise in the field of medical law and her particular experience guaranteed me a superior approach and a successful assertion of my rights.
Klára Dvořáková not only studied all the materials related to the case with precision, provided the necessary supporting documents, recommended further action, but also communicated promptly and without delay with my son, who represented me.
Her approach was not only highly professional but also extremely understanding and helpful. Entering into negotiations with insurance companies or court hearings is certainly not easy for a client, which makes me appreciate her professionalism, personal approach and perfect result in representing me all the more.
I thank Ms. Klara and if I am faced with the need to deal with another complicated legal situation, I know where to turn."
