Did you fail the entrance exam? There's still an appeal

It's after the high school entrance exams. And applicants are hoping to get into their dream school. But what if they see a result they didn't want? No need to despair, there's still an appeal. But we need to act fast.

An unsuccessful applicant has the opportunity to appeal against the headteacher's decision on the outcome of the admissions process within 3 working days of receiving the decision. Just send the appeal by registered mail to the headmaster on the last day of the deadline.

There is no standard form of appeal, but it must comply with the general requirements of an appeal under the Administrative Procedure Code. The reason for the appeal does not have to be merely the incorrect marking of the entrance examination. A 'below-the-line' applicant may also end up being admitted simply because successful applicants did not submit an admissions slip and opted for another school where they were also admitted. This situation is quite common, so we would recommend that you try to appeal.
